- DMT test laboratories Dortmund and Essen Germany
DMT-Test Laboratory for Fire Protection is an ISO 17025 accredited test institute with almost 70 years of experience of fire testing mining equipment. Starting out as a test mine the improvement of fire safety underground by taking part in research projects was the aim. Nowadays as an accredited institute the focus lies with standardized and non-standardized fire tests in our well-equipped laboratory; for example testing of conveyor belts, hydraulic fluids, injection resins and any other kinds of plastic for mining use (above and underground). Besides that we specialize in customized test set ups for our clients.

- Atlas Copco hard rock laboratory in Örebro
Atlas Copco has a hard rock laboratory / test centre in Örebro, Sweden used for testing of rock drill equipment used in excavation of hard rock and minerals.
- DMT Rockbolt and rockbolt- grout tests
DMT provides testing services within its expert body for rock mechanics and support technology, which is certified by the Committee of Safety at the State Mining Authority.
Rockbolt and rockbolt- grout tests according to DIN standards allow the determination of parameters of fully installed rockbolts in a large laboratory scale. Injection agents, both mineral based and synthetic resins, can be tested with 1:1 scale mining equipment. This ensures test results as close to underground conditions as possible. Backfilling material cannot only be tested but developed beginning by the wish to dispose of mineral based waste material. Basic input leads to initial recipe testing, passing varieties, strength tests and finally pipe-viscosimeter tests. At the end of this iterative process, the customer gets a recipe at hand that includes calculations of pumping volumes, required processing equipment and strength potential.
